The Vietnam Service Ribbon is worn below the Coast Guard Arctic Service Ribbon and above the Southwest Asia Service Ribbon.
Servicemembers who qualify for the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal may choose to be awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, but may not receive both awards.
