The Multinational Force and Observers Medal Ribbon is a decoration authorized by the Director General of the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) to recognize international military members who participated in the MFO in support of the ceasefire zone between Egypt and Israel after the Yom Kippur War of 1973. The U.S. military authorized this award to be issued to service members who completed at least 170 days of services in the MFO.
